Wheeler, OR

Wheeler is a small coastal community that is located on the banks of the Nehalem River.  Surrounded by hills, this coastal town is very scenic.  There is a small marina here to help boaters get out on the water.  This area gets a lot less attention for its salmon fishing than nearby Tillamook Bay, but the fishing can be very good here in the summer and fall months as the salmon move into the bay and river to spawn.
