Seaside is Oregon’s first seashore resort community and it is still a very popular year round family vacation destination. The town offers plenty to do with its beaches, restaurants, shops and outdoor recreational opportunities. You won’t find as many fishing charters that operate out of Seaside, Oregon, but most people enjoy staying in Seaside for their family trip and they just make a short drive to the nearby towns where the fishing charters have their boats. Fishing is good in the area for salmon, lingcod and rockfish.
