Rhinelander, Wisconsin is a great place to get away from it all. Located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, you will enjoy outdoor activities in the vast forests and numerous lakes. Rhinelander sits on Boom Lake, which is one of the 1,100 lakes in Oneida County.

Most anglers in this area will target walleye or muskie. If you like fishing for Muskie, this area is home to the Hodag Musky Challenge and it is one of the most prestigious catch and release musky tournaments in the Midwest. Some very nice fish are caught here every year. You can also catch northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, crappie, perch and other panfish in the area lakes. Bass are here, but usually under fished by most anglers.

The Rhinelander Chain of Lakes go right through the town of Rhinelander. This chain of lakes is a popular tourist area and many boaters will enjoy these waters from spring through fall.
