Sheepshead are structure-loving inshore fish known for their striped appearance and excellent table fare. Found around pilings, docks, bridges, and rocky areas throughout Dunedin, Palm Harbor, and Tarpon Springs, these fish are notorious bait stealers and require finesse to catch.

Bridges, piers, and dock pilings with barnacles
Jetties, seawalls, and rocky structure
Nearshore artificial reefs
Residential canals with crustacean-rich environments
