Black Sea Bass Fishing North of Tampa Bay Coastal
Black sea bass are smaller reef fish found offshore near Dunedin, Palm Harbor, and Tarpon Springs. Though more prevalent further north, these fish do appear near Gulf-side reefs and artificial structures. They’re prized for their flaky white meat and often caught while targeting other bottom species.

Rock piles and ledges 15–30 miles out
Mixed hard bottom and debris fields
Deeper wrecks near bait schools
