Naples does not have a ton of variety when it comes to shore fishing spots, but there are plenty of places to fish from shore if you cannot get onto a boat on your trip to this area. The Naples Pier, the beaches and Delnor Wiggins State Park are all available for shore anglers to experience some of the excellent fishing down here.
Fish the Naples Pier
The historic Naples Pier is located on the Gulf of Mexico at the west end of 12th Avenue South. The Naples Pier is very popular for enjoying the beautiful scenery. This pier used to be a popular fishing pier as well, but since Hurricane Ian in 2022, anglers are still waiting on it to re-open to fishing. Check the website below to see the current updates for the pier.

Fish the Beaches
There are miles of beaches in the Naples, Florida area. This part of Florida sees plenty of tourists, but there usually are plenty of places to get out on the beach to fish since this area’s beaches are definitely not super crowded like many other areas of Florida. Anglers target a variety of fish from the surf, but many people come here specifically to target snook.
Fish Delnor Wiggins State Park
Delnor Wiggins State Park is located in North Naples, Florida. This state park is very popular for enjoying the warm weather, beautiful beaches, bird watching, paddle boarding, swimming and of course, fishing. The northern section of the beach is known for its fishing with Wiggins Pass right here. This is one of the better shore fishing spots in the Naples area, however, many people enjoy fishing here, so you will most likely see plenty of anglers fishing here during the peak tourist season.
