Waveland is a small coastal town located on the water. It is the only community of the Mississippi Gulf Coast which prohibits commercial buildings on its beachfront. You’ll find the Veteran’s Memorial Monument and the adjacent Garfield Pier, which is popular for fishing and just hanging out to enjoy the water. Anglers can fish from shore, nearshore, offshore and it is a fairly short boat ride away to fish the bays.
