The bass fishing is very good in this area for largemouth bass. The area lakes all have good numbers of bass and quality fish in the 3 to 4 pound range are here too. If you enjoy fishing shallow water cover, this is an awesome fishing destination for you.
Fish the Lily Pads
This area has so many lily pads to fish and lots of pads in a little deeper water, which is great for catching largemouth bass. There are plenty of pads in the 2 to 3 foot range that will hold some bass, but the better areas to fish are the edges of the pads in the 4 to 6 foot depth range.
Fish the Reeds
Many of the lakes will have small and large stretches of reeds and other taller grasses as well. These spots with depth in the 4 to 6 range will usually be more productive.
Fish the Submerged Vegetation
There are huge areas of submerged vegetation in the 5 to 8 foot depth range. These large areas hold bass, however, you may have to cover some water and make a lot of casts to find bass willing to bite.
