Tripletail Fishing in the Miami, Florida Area
Tripletail can be found roaming near a variety of floating debris nearshore and offshore throughout the Miami area. They might not be as common in this area as some parts of the Gulf of Mexico, but if you’re fishing out here and you see some floating debris, it may be worth your time to cast out a bait to see if any tripletail are hanging out.
Tripletail Fishing Tips
Tripletail feed on smaller fish, shrimp and crabs. Anglers usually sight fish for them with slow-sinking jigs or some type of float (bobber) to help keep the bait suspended in the water column.
