These hard-hitting bottom dwellers are typically caught around reefs, wrecks, and rocky ledges, especially when using live bait or heavy jigs.


Where to Catch Grouper


Grouper are found:

On deep reefs and ledges in 100–300 feet of water

Near wrecks and rock piles

Around drop-offs and bottom structure

Occasionally inshore near jetties or bridges (juveniles)
