Drop Shot Rig

Drop shot rigs aren’t a very popular lake trout bait for most anglers, but they really should be.  They allow you to get those minnow-style soft plastic baits down deeper where lake trout call home.  Some anglers will even rig some of their favorite hard baits on a drop shot rig too.  It’s a very effective rig for catching lake trout.
