Bream or Sunfish (Bluegill, Redear, Pumpkinseed, etc.)
You can find bream in the area lakes and ponds. There are good numbers of a variety of sunfish and plenty of big enough fish to keep for a fish fry if that’s something you’d like to do on a trip here.

Crappie
Crappie are available in the area lakes as well, however, most anglers don’t fish for them. The winter provides some of the best fishing for crappie as these fish move into the shallows to spawn around all types of shallow water cover.
