Edward B. Knight Pier
Formerly known as The White Street Fishing Pier, Edward B. Knight Pier is a popular area to fish in Key West. The fishing can be hit or miss, but at times, there are some nice fish caught from this pier.
Smathers Beach
Smathers Beach has a few rock jetties that you can see in the map below. Some anglers report some good catches in this area.
Fort Zachary Taylor State Park
Anglers fish off the rock jetty adjacent to the main shipping channel. Some nice catches are made off this jetty.
Truman Waterfront Park
There is some deeper water here, which gives anglers some opportunities that they may not find in many of the other shore fishing spots in Key West.
Mallory Square
Mallory Square is one of the best shore fishing spots in Key West, however, your best bet is to fish here in the mornings before this area gets crowded. Viewing the sunset is extremely popular here, so get out here in the morning during a tidal change and you’ll have a shot to catch some fish. There is some deeper water here, which allows for some larger fish to be caught in this area.
