Flounder are flatfish that ambush prey from the sandy bottom in inshore and nearshore waters around Jupiter. They’re known for their excellent table fare and can be caught around structure, sandy drop-offs, and inlet areas. Fall and early winter are prime times for catching flounder in this area.
