Jetty Park is located at the Fort Pierce Inlet, which is one of the more popular places to fish from shore in this part of the state. The snook fishing is what many people think of when they hear about the Fort Pierce Inlet. When the snook are in the inlet, fishing can be lights out with many shore anglers and boaters being hooked up all at once.
Fish the Causeways
There are a couple of causeways very close to the inlet, so you have a lot of water move through here during tidal changes and fish don’t have to move far from the inlet to be get to these bridges. Anglers catch snook and a variety of other fish from shore and in boats around both of these causeways.
Fish the Beaches
There are many miles of uncrowded beaches in this part of Florida. You’re still going to see plenty of people out here, especially during the peak travel season. However, there are so many spots in this area where you can easily find a spot to fish from the surf.
