Types of Fishing Trips Offered
3 hours or less | Quick trips, usually during the peak bite |
1/2 day (4 hours) | The standard trip for most guides and charters |
3/4 day (6 hours) | These trips are a bit longer, which gives guides and charters the ability to make longer runs and fish farther from the boat launch. |
Full day (8 hours) | Some guides and charters will split 8 hour trips into 4 hours in the a.m. and 4 hours in the p.m.
However, most trips will start in the a.m. and go for 8 hours. This extra time gives you the ability to make farther runs if needed to go find feeding fish. |
8+ hours | Some guides and charters will go over 8 hours. These trips are not the norm, but if you’re looking for a longer trip, this gives you more options for making longer runs or even changing fish species. You have lots of options. |
Overnight Trips | Overnight trips are usually done to accommodate the longer runs to get to certain fishing spots. |
