Astoria is a great town for people who enjoy the outdoors. The city population is around 10,000 people. It is located on the Columbia River just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. Hammond is a 20 minute drive west of downtown Astoria. Many people have heard of Astoria from the popular movie called The Goonies. Chinook, WA
Chinook, Washington is a small town located in the southwest corner of Washington on the Long Beach Peninsula. The area is known for its scenic views of the Columbia River and the town is surrounded by beaches, lighthouses and other coastal towns. The population is only around 500 people, but this is a nice port city with access to some very good fishing. There are some fishing charters that operate out of this port as well.
