Old Abe Lake is a 470 acre lake located in Chippewa County. It has a maximum depth of 36 feet. Fish include largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, muskie, northern pike, walleye, sturgeon, catfish and panfish. According to the DNR, walleye are abundant in the lake while smallmouth bass, northern pike and catfish are considered common. Muskie, largemouth bass, sturgeon and panfish are listed as present.
