Lakes

Carp can be found in many different types of lakes.  If the lake has some type of muddy, shallow flats, you can expect to find a lot of carp in these areas.  You can also find carp in the weeds, on sand bars, along the rocks and around wood.  Carp are not as picky as most other fish, so you can find them in so many different areas.  Expect to find them much shallower in the spring than during the summer and fall.
