Burnett County is definitely more of a largemouth bass destination, but there are some lakes that are home to smallmouth bass, although, they are here in limited numbers.
Big Sand Lake
Big Sand Lake is a 1434 acre lake located in Burnett County. It has a maximum depth of 55 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, largemouth bass and northern pike are abundant in the lake while smallmouth bass, walleye and panfish are considered present.
Clam Lake
Clam Lake is a 1338 acre lake located in Burnett County. It has a maximum depth of 11 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, sturgeon and catfish. According to the DNR, northern pike are abundant in the lake. Panfish and largemouth bass are considered common in the lake while smallmouth bass and walleye are present.
Clam River Flowage
Clam River Flowage is a 359 acre lake located in Burnett County. It has a maximum depth of 29 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, sturgeon and catfish. According to the DNR, northern pike are abundant in the lake. Panfish and largemouth bass are common while smallmouth bass, sturgeon and walleye are listed as present.
Lower Clam Lake

Lower McKenzie Lake

Fish include muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike are considered common in the lake. Muskie, smallmouth bass and walleye are listed as present.
McKenzie Lake
McKenzie Lake is a 1129 acre lake located in Burnett, Washburn Counties. It has a maximum depth of 71 feet. Fish include muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye and sturgeon. According to the DNR, muskie, northern pike and walleye are abundant in the lake. Panfish and largemouth bass are considered common while smallmouth bass and sturgeon are listed as present.
Minerva Lake
