Corn

Corn can work well for brown trout, however, it is considered a better bait for rainbow trout.  Any time brown trout are recently stocked, corn can work very well to entice these fish to eat.  Since they are fed pellets, corn is a great bait.  The longer they are in the river or lake after they were stocked though, corn becomes less appealing compared to other baits.
