Black Sea Bass Fishing in the Bradenton, FL Area
Black Sea Bass are often found around the nearshore and offshore reefs and wrecks in the waters outside of Tampa Bay and off the shores of Anna Maria Island & Longboat Key. Most of the offshore fishing charters will head 10 to 20 miles offshore and further to target the bottom structures for a variety of fish. Anglers usually catch them while bottom fishing for grouper and snapper in this area.

Sea bass are easy to catch. Anglers use small baits such as cut bait, shrimp, squid, jigs and soft plastics. Fish near the bottom around reefs, wrecks and jetties and you should be able to find some fish.
