Sea trout, also known as spotted seatrout, are a favorite inshore gamefish in Florida, including the Boynton Beach area. They are commonly caught on grass flats, sandy bottoms, and in deeper holes of the Intracoastal Waterway. These fish strike both artificial lures and live bait and are great fun on light tackle.
