Shore Fishing (Jetties, Piers, Surf)


Boca Raton has miles of beaches to fish with access to pier fishing as well.  You can catch a variety of different fish from the pier such as snook, sheepsheads, sharks, kingfish, pompano, Spanish mackerel, amberjack, whiting, pompano and others.

From the surf, anglers can catch many different species of fish, but when the pompano are running, they get most of the attention. Whiting, snook and Spanish mackerel are also popular from the surf. There are several other species of fish that you can catch on the beaches in the Boca Raton area.

Jetty fishing is available as well as South Inlet Park.  Fish the Boca Raton Inlet for snook and several other species of fish.


Deerfield Beach Pier


The Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier is a popular pier located just south of Boca Raton, Florida.  This pier extends almost 1,000 feet.  It is a popular spot to hang out and enjoy the views and for anglers to fish the Atlantic Ocean.

South Inlet Park


South Inlet Park is a nice park with an awesome location.  People have quick access to the beach just south of the Boca Raton Inlet and there is a jetty here that gives anglers access to fish the Boca Raton Inlet.  Anglers catch a variety of fish here year round.

Fish the Beaches


This area has plenty of beach access if you want to do some fishing from the surf.  Many of these beaches will have plenty of people out there, so in some of these spots, you may have to get out there early in the morning or fish in the evening so you can grab a spot all to yourself to fish.  Anglers catch a variety of fish along these beaches.
