Surf fishing is not the most popular spot to fish for barracuda. Some areas will have decent numbers of barracuda patrolling the surf, but in other areas, you may not see one at all. You are probably better off inshore, off the piers or out in nearshore waters than fishing from the surf, but they can be found here too. If you are using big enough live baits, there is a chance you may run into some barracuda along the surf.
