Spotted bass are available in good numbers on Beaver Lake. For some reason, spotted bass have very slow growth rates on this body of water and there are a ton of small fish as a result. Fishing regulations have changed to help encourage more anglers to keep smaller spotted bass for a meal, however, the spotted bass fishery seems to be dominated by small fish. Nearby, Table Rock Lake is known for having a lot of big spotted so many anglers enjoy targeting them there. On Beaver Lake, most anglers will not specifically target them due to their small size, however, you are going to find a lot of spotted bass in similar areas as smallmouth bass throughout the lake.
