Crappie, perch and bluegill are available in the lake. Many anglers target crappie here and in the spring, the fishing can be very good as many of these fish will move into the shallows to spawn. Crappie over 2 pounds are possible here. Once they move deeper though, they become a lot harder to target and catch. Bluegill are available throughout the lake and there are some big fish available too. You will have to sort through a bunch of them if you plan on finding bigger fish to eat. Perch are available too. In the spring, fish the shallows for the bigger perch, but then expect the bigger fish to be found deeper throughout the rest of the year.
