Muskie

Barron County isn’t known for its amazing muskie fishing, however, there are some places to fish if you want to target them.  Sand Lake is known for having some quality muskie in there, but the clear water makes fishing tough for them.  Little Sand Lake also has some decent muskie and the murkier water helps to draw more strikes from muskie here, however, it is a fairly small lake.  Big Moon Lake, Rice Lake and Stump Lake round out the muskie fishery in the area lakes.
