Tuna fishing is possible off Apalachicola with longer offshore runs into deeper Gulf waters. Blackfin tuna are the most common, often found near oil rigs, floating debris, or bait balls offshore. Their speed and strength make them one of the most exciting pelagic targets for Gulf anglers, especially on light tackle.
