Anna Maria Island & Longboat Key are the reasons why most people come here to visit. There are beautiful beaches, tons of water to explore, marine life and more.

Clearwater / St. Pete Beach
The St. Pete Beach / Clearwater area is one of the most popular beach vacation destinations in the entire state of Florida. Clearwater Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the state and there are large areas of white sand that can handle a lot of people on the beach. People pack it in on Clearwater Beach during the peak travel seasons. The other beaches in this area will also get a good amount of people as well. You may have to deal with some crowds in this area, but it’s just an awesome area to visit and there are miles of beaches, so everyone can find somewhere to hang out for the day.
Anglers fish the inshore waters inside the barrier islands for a variety of fish such as redfish, sea trout, flounder, sheepshead, snook, mangrove snapper and more. Nearshore, many different species of fish will run along these beaches. Offshore, most anglers target snapper and grouper, but there are plenty of other fish found on the reefs and wrecks in this area.

Tampa Bay Inshore Fishing
The Tampa Bay area is one of the most popular inshore fishing destinations in all of Florida. With all of the water here, it can definitely be overwhelming to a first timer, so you may want to hire a fishing charter your first time out. There are several bridges, bays, docks, canals, mangroves and numerous flats to fish in this area. Some of the popular fish to catch inshore are snook, redfish, sea trout and tarpon. However, there are so many more fish that you can catch here. The tides play a huge role in whether or not you will catch fish inshore. Moving water is key for most species of fish and the slack tide usually provides the worst fishing conditions for most fish.

Tampa Bay Deep Sea / Offshore Fishing
The fishing is very good offshore in the Tampa Bay area. This area is very popular and there are so many deep sea fishing charters here to take you out on a fishing trip. The target species will vary depending on the seasons, but this area will provide plenty of action for something year-round. The popular fish that are targeted here are grouper, snapper, cobia, king mackerel, permit, amberjack, mahi mahi, tuna, barracuda and goliath grouper, but there are so many other species of fish that you can catch.

Tampa Bay Shore Fishing
The Tampa Bay area is home to some very good shore fishing opportunities. The Skyway Bridge is the most popular shore fishing spot here, but there are some other spots to fish from shore throughout the bay as well.
