Welcome to our Sudbury, Ontario Fishing Home Page
The Greater Sudbury area is a thriving urban centre with so many attractions, shops, dining and so much more combined with an amazing area for outdoor recreation such as fishing and boating. There is so much to do here for the family, so everyone should be able to find something to do if they don’t want to get out on the water and go fishing. For the people that want to get out on the boat, there is some awesome fishing for a variety of species in this area.
Primary Species of Fish
Smallmouth bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Largemouth Bass & Perch
This area has so many lakes to fish and many of them offer very good fishing for smallmouth bass. You can find good numbers of them and plenty of big bass too. Northern pike and walleye are also common in many of the lakes in this area. On some of the more pressured lakes, you may have to work for the walleye a little more, so early morning and evenings are great times to catch some fish with less boat traffic on the lake. Lake trout are common in many of the lakes in the area and so are yellow perch. Largemouth bass are not as abundant as smallmouth bass in this area, but in many of the smaller, weedier lakes, you can find some good fishing for largemouth bass.
