Southern Utah is often overlooked by many people due to being a desert region, however, there is some very good fishing in a variety of waters throughout Southern Utah. Fish the many creeks and small streams for trout, smallmouth bass and even muskie. There are plenty of high mountain lakes that offer excellent fishing for trout and other fish too. There are national parks in this region that offer some great fishing opportunities. Fish Lake is the largest mountain lake in the state and its deep waters are home to big lake trout, kokanee salmon, splake and rainbow trout.
