Largemouth Bass


Price County used to be known more as a walleye, northern pike, muskie and panfish destination, but like most of Wisconsin, the largemouth bass have taken off in many of the area lakes over the last 10 years or so.  You can find largemouth bass all over the county and on many of the lakes, you can find good numbers of bass in the 2 to 3 pound range with some bigger fish too.  Below you can learn more about some of the best waters to fish for largemouth bass in Price County.


Big Dardis Lake


Big Dardis Lake is a 140 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 23 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, muskie, walleye, largemouth bass and panfish are common in the lake while northern pike are listed as present.



Blockhouse Lake


Blockhouse Lake is a 241 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 8 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, walleye are abundant in the lake while largemouth bass, northern pike and panfish are considered common.  Muskie are listed as present.



Cranberry Lake


Cranberry Lake is a 466 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 18 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye and panfish.  According to the DNR, northern pike, largemouth bass and panfish are common in the lake while walleye are listed as present.



Deer Lake


Deer Lake is a 143 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 18 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, muskie are abundant in the lake while largemouth bass are considered common.  Northern pike and panfish are listed as present.



Le Tourneau Lake


Le Tourneau Lake is a 120 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 16 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike and panfish.  According to the DNR, largemouth bass are common in the lake while northern pike and panfish are listed as present.



Long Lake


Long Lake is a 238 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 49 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, muskie, largemouth bass, walleye, northern pike and panfish are common in the lake while smallmouth bass are listed as present.



Musser Flowage


Musser Flowage is a 503 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 15 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, panfish are abundant in the lake while muskie, largemouth bass and walleye are considered common.  Northern pike are listed as present.



North Spirit Lake


North Spirit Lake is a 224 acre lake located in Taylor, Price Counties.  It has a maximum depth of 22 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, walleye are abundant in the lake while muskie, northern pike, largemouth bass and panfish are listed as common.



Sailor Creek Flowage


Sailor Creek Flowage is a 201 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 8 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, northern pike and panfish are abundant in the lake while largemouth bass are considered common.  Muskie are listed as present.



Sailor Lake


Sailor Lake is a 168 acre lake located in Price County.  It has a maximum depth of 7 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike and panfish.  According to the DNR, panfish are abundant in the lake while northern pike and largemouth bass are listed as common.



Spirit Lake


Spirit Lake is a 137 acre lake located in Taylor, Price Counties.  It has a maximum depth of 9 feet.  Fish include largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie and panfish.  According to the DNR, largemouth bass, northern pike and panfish are common in the lake while walleye and muskie are listed as present.
