Smallmouth Bass

Polk County is definitely not smallmouth bass country, but there are some here if you want to go after them.  The Indianhead Flowage is the place to go if you’re looking for numbers with some quality fish.  However, Pipe Lake has a fishable population of smallmouth bass as well and some people do pretty well there too.
