The Carolina rig is great for fishing deeper water when targeting perch. There are better rigs to use to help you feel their light bites, but some anglers prefer to use the Carolina rig or other slip sinker rigs to target these fish down deep. Fish the deeper weed edges or offshore structure with these rigs and you’ll do well.
