Blade baits will work for perch, however, these aren’t the most popular lures for targeting perch. Casting these baits may bring in a few perch, however, vertical jigging over huge schools of them is the better way to go. Some anglers will use blade baits tipped with live bait when vertical jigging. The erratic action of the blade bait will bring perch in for a closer look, but it might take a piece of worm or minnow to get them to strike the bait.
