Sand Lake is 124 acres in size and is located in the northwestern part of Otter Tail County. It is located approximately 5 miles north of Pelican Rapids, MN. The maximum depth of Sand Lake is 29 feet and 80% of the lake is less than 15 feet deep. Northern pike and walleye are the primary game fish in this lake. Other fish include largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie and perch.
