Welcome to our Housatonic River Fishing Home Page
The Housatonic River is approximately 149 miles long and it is found in western Massachusetts and Connecticut. It flows south to southeast and drains into the Long Island Sound. Fishing is very popular along the entire length of the river and its tributaries. Some parts of the river will make you feel like you are in the western United States on an amazing trout river. Other parts of the river are better for smallmouth bass and northern pike. As you get closer to the Long Island Sound, the striped bass fishery can be awesome.
