What Type of Fishing Line
Mono is fine, but some anglers do use other types of line. You don’t need to though.
What Pound Test
10 to 15 pound test line is fine. We recommend adding a 20 pound flourocarbon leader also. You could go lighter, but you’re fishing the saltwater and some bigger fish might take your bait too, so most anglers go a little heavier to prevent the bite-offs.
