Clarks Hill Lake, also known as Lake Thurmond, is a huge lake that covers over 70,000 surface acres with 400 miles of shoreline.  This is a popular recreational lake for boating and fishing.  Anglers target largemouth bass, striped bass, white bass, crappie, catfish and bluegill.
