Welcome to Our Central Wisconsin Fishing Home Page
Central Wisconsin is home to some excellent fishing opportunities. While Door County and Northern Wisconsin get a lot more attention than Central Wisconsin, there are so many places to fish where you can catch good numbers of fish as well as very big fish.
Primary Species of Fish
Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Salmon, Trout & Panfish
Central Wisconsin is home to a lot of smaller lakes that have plenty of largemouth bass, northern pike and panfish available. Some of the bigger bodies of water also give anglers a shot at good walleye numbers, salmon and trout. You have some options to get into some good fishing for all of the species of fish listed above.
Secondary Species of Fish
Smallmouth Bass
Central Wisconsin is home to some smallmouth bass waters, however, this is not the part of the state to fish if you are looking to find good numbers of smallies with big fish available from a variety of different waters. Smallmouth bass are secondary on many of the waters here. If you are looking for some amazing smallmouth bass fishing, head further north to Northern Wisconsin. There are so many excellent smallmouth bass waters just a little further north.
