Lake Taneycomo is a man-made lake or reservoir on the White River in the Ozark Mountains of Taney County, Missouri. Its clear, cold waters provide anglers a year-round fast-action trout fishery. The lake is stocked with tons of rainbow trout, which makes it fairly easy for anglers to catch their limit on a consistent basis. If you want to target bigger trout, you can fish for brown trout. You won’t find the brown trout here in as big of numbers as the rainbows, but there are enough of them in there to consistently catch some fish if you know what you are doing.
Table Rock Lake is an excellent lake. Most anglers come here to target bass, crappie, white bass, catfish and bluegill, however, you can also catch walleye and striped bass here too. You will find largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and spotted bass in this lake. Anglers can fish here throughout most of the year with some of the peak fishing times coming in the spring and fall. There are plenty of fishing guides available as well to help you plan an awesome fishing trip.
Bull Shoals Lake is an awesome multi-species fishing lake. Many different species of bass are available to go along with walleye, catfish, trout and panfish. The clear waters makes this lake tough on some anglers, but if you know how to fish clear water, you can do very well on Bull Shoals Lake. Anglers report good numbers of fish caught here and some big fish are here too.
