Farm Island Lake is a 2,054 acre lake located about 7 miles south of Aitkin. There are two state owned public access with concrete ramps on the lake – one each on the north and south side of the lake. The lake is heavily developed with many homes and cabins on here. The maximum depth is 56 feet. Northern pike and walleye are here in good numbers. Other fish include largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, perch and rock bass.
