Namekagon River


The Namekagon River is a northern tributary to the St. Croix River.  It covers almost 100 miles and is protected under the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.  It offers good fishing for many different species of fish.  Anglers can fish for smallmouth bass, walleye, muskie, northern pike, panfish and even trout.  There are brown trout and brook trout on the section of river upstream of Hayward, Wisconsin.
