Lake Ida (Douglas County, MN)


Lake Ida is a large (4,427 acres), moderately fertile lake located northwest of Alexandria. Maximum depth exceeds 100 feet with a mean depth of around 28 feet deep. Lake Ida is connected to Lake Miltona to the north and Lake Charley to the south via non-navigable channels.  Lake Ida is managed for walleye and the walleye fishery is very good here.  This lake also offers good fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, crappie and bluegill.  Perch and rock bass are available too.
