Grill Lake (Douglas County, MN)

Grill Lake is a small, shallow, and lightly developed lake that is located about eight miles southwest of Alexandria in Douglas County.  There is no public access to this lake, but small fishing boats can access through a shallow channel on the northeast shore of Mill Lake.  Grill Lake is thought to provide spawning and nursery habitat for Mill Lake.  Largemouth bass, northern pike, bluegill and crappie are the dominant species of fish that anglers target in this lake.  Walleye do move in and out of this lake, but don’t expect to find good numbers of them here.
