Topwater Lures

Topwater lures can be very effective for striped bass, however, at times, you aren’t going to get any bites with them so they can be hit or miss.  When striped bass are feeding near the surface though, the bites can be fast and furious.  It is always smart to have a rod and reel setup with a topwater bait just in case you run into a school of stripers feeding on the surface.
