Clam worms, often referred to as ragworms or sandworms, are reddish brown with 4 eyes, 2 sensory feelers and 8 tentacles. Striped bass can easily be caught with these worms. You will usually catch smaller stripers in the 16 to 30 inch range, but the action can be great with this bait. Fish it on the bottom with your favorite bottom rig and you should have no problem getting some stripers to bite. Expect to catch plenty of other smaller fish too while targeting stripers.
