Swimming a variety of lures with a steady retrieve is a great way to fish for spotted bass. These fish like to chase a bait just like smallmouth bass do, so swimming a swimbait, curly tail grub, ringworm or other type of bait that has some swimming action will get plenty of bites. Slow and steady will usually do the trick. Get your baits down to the correct depth and you’ll catch some fish.
