Drop shotting is one of the best ways to target spotted bass, especially once these fish go deeper. You have a lot of options with baits you can use from live baits to an array of soft plastics. Hop the bait along the bottom or hold it in place and just shake the rod tip. Both techniques work, so if you can find some hungry bass, you will get some bites.
